Diana (Dee) Jamieson has been professionally involved with horses most of her life. Based in New Zealand, she co-founded a highly regarded Warmblood sport horse stud in Canterbury and later established a thriving training and coaching facility in the Waikato, specializing in starting young horses under saddle, hosting riding clinics and camps, and developing horse and rider empowerment programs.
Having bred, started, and competed her own performance horses with success, Diana has a deep appreciation for the honesty and authenticity that comes from working with animals. She believes this awareness can reveal powerful lessons about ourselves—insights she brings to life through her realistic and engaging equestrian fiction and creative companion books.
When she's not writing and being creative, Diana enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and camping in the great outdoors.

I'm excited to share with you these inspiring horse stories set amongst true-to-life equestrian scenes and featuring some personal experiences I have been involved with over the years. Some of the characters in the books are even loosely based on some of my real-life horse and human friends! I'm sure they won't mind me including them 😄
I have always been a positive-minded, creative thinker, keen on exploring new places and different ideas. I love nature, animals, personal development... and laughing!
My experience working predominantly with young horses, and as a coach across multiple disciplines, kept inspiring me to grow and find new ways to share important foundational ideas with others. Working with horses also soon made me realize how much they were actually teaching me - I became so much more aware and connected to myself and the world around me. This changed not only my horse handling and coaching skills, but my whole inner-confidence and approach to life in general.
This inspiration has now led me down the path of writing - something I have always enjoyed - providing a new opportunity to share life lessons and help empower others.
I believe we can all enjoy a fuller, more rewarding life aligned with our purpose when we connect with our excitement, our creativity, our authenticity.
Through the Heart Horse stories, activity workbooks and Readers Club community, I hope to share some of this heartfelt inspiration with you and encourage you to become the best version of yourself you can be - on or off the saddle.
